So if it is the logic board I will probably part it out to sell on ebay. From what I have read this could be a bad logic board and could cost as much as $800 to fix! Well that's nearly what the computer is worth when working. How likely is it that all 5 gigs of ram went bad at the same time. I tried taking out all the ram and booting and sure enough in gives one flash of the light to say that no compatible ram was found. I had 5gb's of ram in the computer and have tried all combinations of reinstalling the ram. I then researched and found the 3 flashes mean bad or incompatible ram. I then tried to restart it and the power light flashed 3 times and it would not boot up.

Well I was downloading a large file and the screen froze so I pushed the power button until it shut down.
